I've got a busy weekend ahead of me my lovelies. Tomorrow I'm spending the day at my girlfriend's dance studio recital with all of my best high school girlies. I'm so proud of the work Jenny and her sister, Rhonda have done with their dance studio and I can't wait to be a part of the recital excitement again.
I'm lucky to be the "plus one" on the arm of a handsome guy tomorrow evening at a venue downtown (just a dash up the street from my condo which is perfect) and Sunday my sweetie pie Meaghan and her baby Abigail are coming to visit me in the city. What do you guys have on the agenda for this weekend?
Although the weather is gorgeous today, I've read that we're in for 7 days of rain in Toronto, so my team and I met for two hours outside today and then had a team lunch on a patio. It was so great to be outside and feel that energy that only comes from those early spring days.
In other happy news, I actually did my hair last night and today I'm feeling extra girlie. It's rare that I take the time to do my hair. When you've got a mop as thick as mine, you tend to throw it in a ponytail or bun instead of wrestling with curling irons, round brushes and 40 minute drying sessions. My arms actually hurt when I finally finish doing my hair, so I slack as much as possible. When I caught a glimpse of my reflection in the doors leading to my office this morning and saw my sleek blonde mane and aviators I thought, "Maybe the effort really is worth it..." We'll see how long this lasts.
