This B-Strong Bash

For those of you who've been with me for a while, you might remember some posts about my incredible friend Lindsay. We lost Lindsay almost two years ago to a brain tumour. Upon diagnosis, Linds got right back up and decided to do something. It's really easy to be upset, be angry, fall apart and let illness take over your life - and hey, nobody would blame you for feeling that way - but Lindsay didn't do that. She found some positives in the diagnosis and with that outlook she was able to inspire everyone that knew her, and many people that didn't. The B-Strong Bash in 2007 was the first big event in efforts to raise money for The B-Strong Fund. It was hugely successful and it was the first time I met Lindsay. Her spunky nature and spirit still put a smile on my face when I think about her.

This Friday night, I'll be at The Bash, bidding on auction items surrounded by people who love and adore Linds. What will you be doing to inspire people and make a difference in the world?

Hi love. I'm sorry for your loss. It's beautiful that youre keeping her spirit alive through this auction. I recently helped my mom raise money for Crohns & Colitis. It felt really good to be apart of something so positive. I
Think I'm addicted to making a difference now. The aftermath is incred. :)
